It All Starts Here! With a mission to overthrow the bland and embrace the bold, three friends set out to make your feet dance with joy with every step you take, circa January 2023. Can you believe they were discussing socks for men on a vacation? What can we say, their discussion opened the doors to The Sock Street! After incessant R&D sessions for over 7 months, the sock-head trio prepared for the market, armed with a rich inventory of amazing socks. The trio finally dove head first into turning their dream into a reality by locking the sock-tastic name “The Sock Street” in February this year.
Armed with creativity, a touch of magic, and an extra dose of quirkiness, these sock wizards work tirelessly day and night to concoct designs that'll blow your boring socks off (quite literally!). From sassy stripes to psychedelic swirls, bold solids to out-of-this-world patterns, they bring to you sock styles that can suit every soul on the planet.

Udit Mayor, the visionary founder of The Sock Street, stands as a testament to this transformative spirit. With an unbreakable passion for socks for men, he brings the leverage of 25 years of industry experience & a legacy rooted in entrepreneurship to the table. Udit's unwavering passion for socks began in a business-oriented family, where his father's sock venture in 1998 ignited a thriving legacy.
Seeking to deepen his understanding of the intricacies of sock production, Udit undertook rigorous training in state-of-the-art sock machinery in Italy. Armed with newfound knowledge, he returned to India and joined his father’s business in the year 2000 at the tender age of 22 or 23. Udit then made the bold decision to forego his college education, opting instead to take the reins of his father’s sock unit at such an early age. From that point forward, he embraced a multifaceted role, shouldering responsibilities that ranged from sampling to design, all the while steering the company toward innovation and growth. His vision was to incorporate Italian machinery into the business & infuse world-class quality into the heart of Indian sock production.
Going forward, challenges emerged on the horizon with Udit’s new partner exiting the business. This could not break his spirits - his unwavering determination and leadership shone through as he took full control of the business. There was no looking back from there. He marched through, paving the way for The Sock Street. Today, along with the other two running wheels of The Sock Street, he has his eyes firmly set on the Indian market, determined to upgrade the way we see socks for men!
